SLATE invites you to attend NIKT 2024, a key annual event for interdisciplinary themes of informatics, computer science, didactics, and ICT in Norway.  

You are welcome to attend the 36th Norwegian ICT Conference for Research and Education (NIKT 2024). This year, some of our colleagues from SLATE are behind the planning and organization of the conference.

The organization committee includes four people from the University of Bergen: the general chair, Associate Professor at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies, Fazle Rabbi, as well as Knut Risnes, Adviser at the same Department of Information Science and Media Studies, Nikolay Stoyanov Kaleyski, Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, and Senior Researcher at SLATE, Mohammad Khalil.

On the support team are SLATE Researchers Farhad Vadiee and Ronas Shakya.

The conference consists of four tracks:

• NIK – Norwegian Informatics Conference

• NOKOBIT – Norwegian Conference for Organizations’ Use of IT

• NISK – Norwegian Information Security Conference

• UDIT – Norwegian Conference for Education and Didactics in IT subjects
