The first meeting of the SLATE board was held on March 9th.  Dean Jarle Eid, board leader, welcomed both representatives and their alternatives to the inagural meeting. SLATE director Barbara Wasson presented an overview of SLATE, its mission, strategy, and research plan for 2016.
