In his presentation at the 8th International Conference on Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK`18), Jo Dugstad Wake focused on the process involved in developing the Learning Analytics Portal (LAP) .

In particular, he explained that the portal came to be through a collaborative process with stakeholder representatives from the Learning Analytics Community in Norway, including as many different types of community members as possible.

Wake reports that the presentation received good feedback about LAP’s visualisation of the information, and for the way LAP supports community building through facilitating knowledge and awareness for all community members.
