SLATE is proud to announce that André Rabello Mestre, PhD Candidate at SLATE, has been granted NOK 45 000 from the Meltzer Research Fund to support a research visit at the University of Cambridge.
The NOK 45 000 Meltzer grant will support a research visit to the University of Cambridge related to André Rabello Mestre’s PhD project, entitled Computer-Assisted Creativity and Learning in Higher Education. Mestre’s PhD project investigates how university students learn from their interactions with the emerging technologies that are reshaping our classrooms.
The research visit will last for four weeks, taking place between the summer and fall of 2025. The visit is linked to the Digital Education Futures Initiative (DEFI), which is an important milieu for research into education technologies.
Together with SLATE Senior Researcher and Theme Leader Ingunn Johanne Ness, André Rabello Mestre will also participate in a workshop at the University of Cambridge on the use of chatbots to facilitate innovation and creativity in groups.
Congratulations to André!
