The University of Bergen (UiB), the University of Oslo (UiO), The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the University of Tromsø (UiT) have joined forces to initiate a management training program for young research leaders working in the fields of psychology and pedagogy. Among this year’s participants is SLATE's Senior Researcher Mohammad Khalil.
The programme aims at giving talented young researchers the opportunity to develop and refine their skills as research leaders, supporting them in building interdisciplinary research network as well as at helping them at maximising their chances in competition for research funding.
"The first session of the Young Research Talent program organised by the consortium of the largest 5 universities in Norway has been surprising to me! Some excellent leaders shed light on previous YFL experiences and how alumni proceed in their academic career. Personally, I have learnt a lot in just 2 days and have become highly motivated to draw my future path. Big thanks to the fellows and the leaders of such a program. Am sure this will be an absolute successful mentoring program!", says Khalil.
