PI and project leader Kristin Børte and co-PI Ingunn Ness received funding for their DIKU project ILUKS - Innovative lærerstudenter: Undervisningsdesign for kreative kunnskapsprosesser og studentaktivitet, where they will collaborate with the Department of Education's Helene Eide, Helene Eide, Coordinator of practice in teacher education and Sølvi Lillejord, Director of teacher education at the Office of the Director, UiB to to improve practicum for pre-service teachers through inquiry based teaching, student active learning, and connecting theory and practice.. SLATE's Head of IT, Gleb Belokrys, and Director Barbara Wasson are also involved.
Kjetil Egelandsdal has a major role in the Faculty of Law project Bedre Læring, Bedre Jurister led by Associate Professor Jan-Ove Færstad, where he will contribute with his expertise on the use of student response systems, and be involved in trialing the use of comparative judgement, together with CJ expert Eva Hartell, of KTH, Stockholm, who will be hired in a 20% position at SLATE. Other SLATE researchers who will be involved in this work with comparative judgement include Barbara Wasson, Mohammad Khalil, Cecile Hansen, and Ingunn Ness.
Finally, Ingunn Ness is also involved in the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care project FREMFARM: Å utdanne farmasøyter klare til å møte morgendagens utfordringer led by Associate Professor Lone Holst, where she will contribute with her expertise on creativity, innovation, and learning.
