is a partnership between six Norwegian universities and one Norwegian
university college. Co-ordinated by the Faculty of Educational Sciences,
University of Oslo, it is a national graduate school offering
specialised education and training in thematic fields central to
educational knowledge.
NATED has 4 thematic tracks
NATED
has been a very important arena for educational research in Norway and
has helped provide candidates with excellent training with an
international orientation. NATED candidates are well prepared for their
future research careers, which, in turn, bode well for the future
development of Norwegian educational research.
At
the 8 September 8 closing conference in Oslo, all present and former
candidates and their supervisors have been invited. The main objective
of the conference is to communicate the results of NATED activities,
particularly the research the candidates have produced.
.
She will be presenting her work on “the room of opportunity”. Her
research studied creative knowledge processes and showed that
multi-disciplinary groups engaged in innovative, creative, and
problem-solving processes passed through distinct but common phases of
which 3 could be described as being the room of opportunity. This
research will be put to practice as Ness continues her work as a
post-doc in the multi-disciplinary research centre, SLATE.
Ness
is looking forward to the opportunity to present her work as the
conference could be a good occasion to add to and build networks.
