MOOC: Seksuell og Reproduktiv Helse og Rettigheter

OsloMet received funding from Norgesuniversitetet to develop a parttime blended learing (60% diigial and 40% physcial) course on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights targeting nurses and midwives who work with reproductive heath. SLATE is particpating with expertise on MOOCs design and learning analytics.

The goal of the collaboration is to achieve quality improvement in the course based on a good analysis of the students' learning related to the learning outcomes descriptions.


SLATE contributed with:

  • presentations on learning analytics
  • advice on the design of the MOOC course
  • reports on the EdX Insights data
  • pre- and post survey data
  • learning analyics visualisations of the student activity in the MOOC
  • writing a journal article on the MOOC

Furthermore, the course activity data has also been used to test the Learning Analytics dashboard for Open EdX Moocs that SLATE is developing.
