After learning that SLATE had been granted funding, Barbara Wasson and Astrid Tolo were interviewed last summer by Kari Olstad for Synkron, the online magazine for Flexible Learning in Norway (fleksibel utdanning Norge).
Re-visiting this article provides us with an excellent summary of a number of the issues that were presented at SLATE’s official opening (for Norwegians, as the article is in Norwegian).
It also underlines the work that has been done by the SLATE leadership this past year to build the foundation for the work that will engage SLATE in the years to come as the Centre endeavours to fulfil the mandate set out by the Ministry of Education and Research.
